Residence card

There are 2 types of residence cards :

• Temporary Residence Card (TRC) (for foreigners who reside
  
  for a definite period of time in Vietnam.
• Permanent Residence Card (PRC) (for foreigners who reside
  
  and work permanently in Vietnam.

The applicant can obtain a residence card under 3 conditions :

• He has a work permit in Vietnam.
• He has a company in Vietnam.
• He is married to a Vietnamese citizen.

The validity of the residence card in Vietnam is 12, 24 or 36 months.
The applicant can obtain for a residence card extension.
