Family visa (5 years)

The family visa is delivered to foreigners who are spouses, children
of Vietnamese people residing overseas or of Vietnamese citizens.

The certificate of visa exemption has a duration of 5 years and expires
at least 6 months before the expiration of the holder’s passport.

The family visa allows to stay in Vietnam for 90 days. When it expires
the foreigner may leave or apply for a stay renewal.

If the foreigner's passport expires before your 5 years is completed,
he will have to get a new visa in his renewed passport.
